কারণ, যখন x=0 এবং y=0, তখন প্রথম রেখা অভিক্ষেপ করলেই ত্রিভুজের সব শীর্ষবিন্দুগুলো (0, 0) বিন্দুতে স্থাপিত হবে। আর যখন x+y=1, দ্বিতীয় ও তৃতীয় রেখার মাধ্যমে যেকোনো বিন্দু (x, y) নির্ণয় করা যাবে, যার জন্য x+y=1 সমীকরণটি মেলে।
